To celebrate this occasion, the City of Madrid, the Official College of Architects of Madrid, and the COAM Architecture Foundation have agreed to jointly organize the „Year of Antonio Palacios.“ It will commence in October 2023 and conclude one year later in the autumn, with two separate exhibitions. Throughout the year, various activities are planned to provide the city with a deep and updated understanding of what Antonio Palacios represented as a bridge between the eclecticism of the 19th century and the modernity of the 20th century, connecting the architecture and the city of the past with those of the future.
